Kia 'Zombie Proof'

Kia ‘Zombie Proof’

To promote the new Kia EV range we showcased the cars in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies.

Why? 1. Because zombies are cool. 2. They can’t see well so only react to sound. And as we all know, electric cars hardly make any.

This was the first work in Australia from French filmmaker Francois Rousselet, who was fresh from directing films for A$AP Rocky and the Rolling Stones.

The campaign stars Luke Arnold, who played INXS singer Michael Hutchence in a recent miniseries, Tess Haubrich from Spiderhead and Chloe Zuel, fresh off the back of the stage musical Hamilton. We also filled the zombie hoard with influencers like Jamie Durie (Backyard Blitz) and Dougie ‘The Pizza Boy’ who stretched the campaign into social channels.
